The 17th Annual Leadership Conference on Asian Pacific Islander Health hosted by Stanford's Asian Liver Center is a great opportunity for high school students to network and to learn from industry experts from fields such as business, medicine, law, politics, communications and health. Only
100 participants will be chosen to compete in a Team Leadership Challenge and present their projects to a panel of judges and audience of 200 people at Stanford. The program is held on the Stanford University campus from July 31-August 3, 2019. The Youth Leadership Conference is open to all students entering or just graduating high school. Therefore, in order to be eligible, students should either be starting high school in the same year of the conference, or have just graduated from high school, or anywhere in between. Applications are currently open and will close at 11:55 pm on Sunday, March 31, 2019. There is a $500 fee to participate but financial aid is available.
